Dr Dominic Vickers is a Consultant Cardiologist who completed advanced training in Cardiology at the Prince of Wales, Port Macquarie, and Sutherland hospitals. A graduate of the University of New South Wales with Distinction, he also holds an Honours research degree and continues to contribute as a Conjoint Associate Lecturer, teaching undergraduate medical students and engaging in research. Specialising in cardiac imaging, Dr Vickers is accredited to report CT coronary angiograms and perform transoesophageal echocardiograms. His key interests include preventative cardiology and the integration of emerging technologies to enhance patient outcomes. He has published research both nationally and internationally and holds a Master of Public Health from UNSW, reflecting his commitment to advancing healthcare on a broader scale.
